We produce plants for plantation forests of top-end genetic quality. Our Production Varieties represent the next big advance in the continuing process of genetic improvement.

Currently 25 Production Varieties have been selected for commercial production. Additional superior Production Varieties are being developed, so the genetics of our planting stock will be continually improved and updated.

Our Production Varieties of radiata pine are produced either as bare-root or individually containerised cuttings.

Forest Genetics does not produce genetically engineered plants; the plants we produce are simply copies of the superior varieties as identified in field trials.Our planting stock is developed through conventional breeding and propagation methods only.
